Considering a Murlyka Kitten?

We want you to feel comfortable that you are getting a a happy, healthy, lovely and gorgeous Siberian kitten that is well suited to your family and we also want to insure that our kittens go to the best possible homes. In short - we want the right match for all concerned. We suggest you educate yourself about buying a purebred kitten. The process of ensuring the right match for all concerned means that you get to ask lots of questions of me and I'll ask some of you.

Waitlist

When we have a litter planned or a confirmed pregnancy we will advertise details on the Kittens and in the What's New box on the Homepage. At this time you can join out waitlist for the kittens. There is no charge to be added to the waitlist. As we are a small breeder we cannot guarantee that everyone on the waitlist will get a kitten in the next litter. We can't control the size of our litters, so we can't make firm commitments until after the kittens are born. If you would like to join our waitlist, please email us and tell us:

• How many kittens you want to adopt
• If you have any colour/sex requirements
• If you are flexible on these requirements
• If you will want to take your kitten to cat shows
• If you or your family members have cat allergies
• A little bit about yourself
• A phone number we can contact you on

A few weeks after the litter arrives we will get in touch with people on the waitlist to have a chat. We like to talk to you so that we know our kittens are going to the best homes possible and buyers are receiving the right cat for them. If at this stage you want to reserve a kitten you will be asked to pay a non-refundable deposit of $350. This will reserve the kitten of your choice.

Reserving a Kitten/Kitten Contract

Before accepting your deposit, you will be asked to sign a kitten contract. This contract includes clauses about the following:

• Your commitment to provide a loving home for the kitten
• Your commitment to provide good veterinary care for your kitten
• Your commitment to provide high quality diet and regular exercis/play
• Your agreement not to declaw and to raise the cat indoors
• Your commitment to contact us if you can no longer care for the kitten
• Payment details

Pricing

Murlyka pet kittens are $800 CDN (This includes spaying/neutering). A discount of $150 Canadian will be given if buying a second or third Murlyka kitten. Final payment due prior to pickup/shipping. Transportation costs are extra. There is no extra charge if you wish to show your pet kitten. Kittens may be shipped in the US or Canada. Those interested in kittens for breeding purposes, please call us for further information.

• All pet kittens will be neutered (Because of this, they cannot be picked up/shipped until 13-14 weeks of age)
• They will have all their age appropriate vaccinations and veterinary health certificate at time of pickup/shipping
• They will be litter trained and have beginner clicker training
• You will get detailed care instructions, samples of their favorite foods, a book on raising a happy cat, information on clicker training, favorite toys
• A pedigree with pictures
• Registration with CFA or TICA (your choice)
• A 5 year health guarantee against genetic diseases
• Lifelong consultation and support
