Our Purring Machines!
Murlyka cats live up to the cattery name -
they are great and unique Russian purrers. Nökö
(The Big Boy) purrs with a deep steady rumble interspersed
with “talking” and head bunts to encourage more
petting. Anya has a beautiful high
trilling purr. She is also a virtuoso of the lovely chirping
sounds that Siberian cats are known for. Daniela
always ensures she is within in arms’ reach of your
hand and with her purrs converses and tells you how appreciative
she is of being stroked. Tazmin is
always purring when food is coming, with the sun goes up and
when the sun goes down, she even purrs in her sleep.
The kittens have been shown to be purr-ers extraordinaire,
as well. They begin purring at the first sight of their
humans. It is one of life’s little pleasures to
walk into a room filled with sound of Siberian cats
purring. How can one not be cheerful amidst a room full
of purring cats?
